There was an invisible wall around her that he had to break down in order to get to what her really wanted which was her heart. John was determined to win her love, but in order to do that, he had to win her trust, something that Nina had lost long ago. John was determined to have her and he held back nothing in his pursuit of her love. Nina couldn't resist the romantic way he swept her off her feet until she could finally admit that she loved him, too, but she was still keeping secrets from him. When the sparks between them ignite into true passion, John knows that he has found his soul mate. Can John convince Nina before she disappears from his life for good?
Nina is a sassy, strong, and intelligent woman who has had more than her share of pain. Not only did she lose her mother at a young age, she was also separated from her brothers. Forced to grow up on her own, Nina builds a wall around her heart. When she's hired to write a novel for the sexy Dr. John Flores, Nina soon discovers that her wall isn't as strong as she thought. Melanie Schuster's done it again...and I'm so grateful.

In Melanie Schuster's latest "A Fool for You" we are reintroduced to John Flores and Nina Whitney who we first encountered in "Something to Talk About". Having met months ago when Nina signed on to serve as the ghostwriter for John's upcoming book, these two have shared a fiery relationship which has included dealing with John's being reunited with his long lost family and suffering with a severe illness. Through it all Nina, also called "Miss Parker" by John, has been a great supporter and friend.
Nina has perfected a cool, professional exterior which would scare away a less confident man than John. However, having seen a glimpse of a hot passionate woman below Nina's carefully crafted exterior, John is intrigued deeply by Nina. Driven to action after seeing her dance with other men at a wedding reception they are both attending, John is determined to get to know Nina better. It is a task that won't be easily accomplished, but makes for a wonderfully pleasant reading experience.
Ms. Schuster, as always, crafts an engaging and remarkable story. As in past books, we are treated to updates of our favorite characters from the Cochran/Devearaux families. As I have come to expect of one of Ms. Schuster's books, "A Fool for You" was a delightful read with enough drama to keep me reading on and on.
